Sunniside Club consists of a Bar, Games Room, Snooker/Pool Room, Concert Room and Lounge and is beautifuly decorated.
We afford members associates and guests a warm welcome and provide disabled access to the club.
Opening Times
The normal club opening times are:
Tuesday - Thursday 12.00 until 16.00 and 18.00 until 23.00
Friday - Monday Open all day 12.00 until 23.00
Please note the Concert Room is only open Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon evenings and Sunday lunch time. The Lounge is only open Fri, Sat and Sunday evenings.
CIU AFFILIATION
Like most clubs throughout the country we are affiliated to the Club and Institute Union(CIU) and we are thankfull for their help and support over the years.
CLUB FACILITIES
BAR
Our bar has recently been refurbished and has a darts area, two 42" Plasm TV's and a Large Screen from which we show the full range of SKY SPORTS. We also have a small games room joined on to the Bar where dominoes and cards are played.
GAMES ROOM
The games room houses a full size snoker and pool table along with a darts area. For the less active we have a 26" Tv showing all SKY SPORTS programes.
CONCERT ROOM
We have a large air conditioned conert room with a dance floor and stage - live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday night with 50/50 dancing every Thursday night to our excellent resident organist and drummer Billy and Clayton.
LOUNGE
For those who prefer a more comfortable and quiet night out our lounge is second to none - it is very well appointed and has a 32" Palsma Tv.
HISTORY SOCIETY
We have an excellent and very active History Society who meet on the first Tuesday of every month in our Concert Room (shown below). We would encourage anyone who is interested to come along and join the society, and their website address can be found on our Links page.
